3. Permissions Required
The App requires certain permissions to function correctly, strictly for local operation:
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required to show you eye care reminders.
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE: Required to keep the service running reliably in the background.
- SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM & USE_EXACT_ALARM: Required to trigger reminders precisely every 20 minutes and for scheduled operation.
- USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT & DISABLE_KEYGUARD: Required to display the full-screen alarm over other apps and the lock screen so you don't miss a break.
- WAKE_LOCK: Required to wake up the screen when an alarm triggers.
None of these permissions are used to access your personal files, contacts, location, or internet.
4. Third-Party Services
Lookoff does not integrate with any third-party advertising or analytics services. The app works entirely offline.
